Inspired by my love of Old Hollywood and Glinda The Good Witch, I had to have this material in my life and I had to make something for you out of it.

The Stars Align is an ethereal, soft silk capelet with dreamy moon and star highlights twinkling on the ruffle.
The body is made of 100% silk georgette in black, the ruffle is deadstock Italian 100% silk floaty crimped georgette with silver star and moon velvet panne giving it a 3D quality.
The tie that sits softly against your neck is made of black silk velvet.
The cape features french seams, hand sewing and hand rolled hems.
Size: One size fits all
There are only 5 made from this deadstock fabric. Sadly never to be seen again. Fabric cannot be re-ordered.
Completely cut, sewn and handmade by me in my studio in Ballarat.

Care: This is very delicate silk so please handle carefully. Can be cold hand washed in speciality silk wash and air dried only. Be careful and do not press the silk velvet tie without a velvet board. Can also be dry cleaned by speciality cleaners
