Hi! I'm Elle, the creator of Moon Of Desire. My journey began in vintage fashion, naturally evolving into womenswear, childrenswear, and print design. While I'm classically trained in patternmaking, draping and sewing, much of my expertise comes from years of collecting and studying vintage clothing and patterns and writing about costume design in film.

By night, I'm a musician and this dual identity is the heart behind my my designs. This collection was born from my search for the perfect stage wear, inspired by the glamour of Old Hollywood costumes. I dream of reviving the era when rock stars wore capes—think Sly Stone, Bowie, Little Richard, MC5 and T-Rex in their magnificent glory.
