Meet the Cosmic Dancer capelet- my first baby! I wore this playing a big rock’n’roll show because I wanted to feel not only like one of my rocknroll heroes but a superhero bass player? Well it’s special nonetheless.
She is made of soft, ever so slightly crinkled black silk chiffon, featuring almost 3D silver panne velvet moons and stars that catch the light as you move. Tie it up with the black silk velvet neck tie.
I have held onto this Italian deadstock fabric sourced New York since the pandemic. Part of me doesn’t want to let them go. With only a handful in existence, these pieces are truly limited edition - once they're gone, they're stardust. It’s rare honey.
Lovingly handcrafted using both machine and traditional hand-sewing techniques by me. As each piece is made by me the single maker there may be tiny unique imperfections because they are not factory made.

Medium - fits 36-38” approx (91cm - 96cm) bust
Large - fits approx 40-42” (101 - 106cm) bust

Please note: The fabric for these star capes are extremely delicate and the fabric can pull or snag easily. Please take note of the care labels and handle very gently. Be careful of those fancy rings!
Care: Professional Dry Cleaning recommended but handwashing in silk wash could happen if you dare.
